Take a Hot Air Balloon Trip with Hot Air Expeditions

Lawrence Dunham Vineyards Wine Gallery

Arizona is becoming known for its grape-growing regions and wine production. So it was only a matter of time before the wine tasting rooms followed. Some of the best grape-growing conditions are in the Chiricahua Mountains about four hours south of Scottsdale, a little far to go for a wine tasting. So Curt Dunham and Peggy Fiandaca have brought their wine to us and Scottsdale has its first completely local estate wine tasting room!

Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy

I laughed a lot at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy last week! It’s a new fixture on High Street at City North in North Phoenix. This is Bronson’s third location in the U.S. and his first in Arizona. Rick himself is an award-winning comedian, and every week he brings in comics from all over the country to perform in his club. Many of them have appeared on shows like The Tonight Show, Letterman, and Last Comic Standing.

“Fashioned in America” at Phoenix Art Museum

The Phoenix Art Museum has a wonderful new exhibition about garments made here in the U.S. called “Fashioned in America“. You can see over 30 contemporary ensembles and accessories ranging from casual to high fashion, including pieces by Oscar de la Renta, J. Mendel, Nanette Lepore, and Monique Lhuillier.
