Executive Chef Andrea Volpi and Chef Guillermo Alcala have returned to Scottsdale with a bright, new version of La Locanda. Known for being a distinctive dining experience which, in their own words, captures the soul of an Italian grandmother dancing the tango with Sinatra hipsters, this restaurant certainly isn’t one to disappoint.
Grilled calamari, roasted beet, blood orange and ricotta salad, and bucatini all’Amatriciana were among the Northern Italian dishes we enjoyed. That said, the absolute star of the show was the veal gorgonzola with spinach and crispy potatoes. To complete the perfect meal, we recommend a finale of the beautifully delicious panna cotta.
La Locanda is open daily for lunch and dinner and is located at 6830 E 5th Ave #108 at the Scottsdale Waterfront.
