Savor Wines from Napa Valley’s Freemark Abbey at our October Chef’s Table

Every month, we host a Monday Night Chef’s Table where we celebrate food and drink with a special four-course menu paired with beverages. On Monday, October 7, our special guest will be Freemark Abbey, a renowned Napa Valley winery. 

The history of Freemark Abbey began in 1886 when Josephine Marlin Tychson became the first woman to build and operate a winery in California. In 1939, after the repeal of prohibition, the winery was purchased by three businessmen from Southern California, Albert “Abbey” Ahern, Charles Freeman and Markquand Foster. Together they re-opened the winery and renamed it “Freemark Abbey” (an amalgamation of their names). The winery remains an integral part of the region today. For our Monday Night Chef’s Table, brand ambassador Dana Aguero will be traveling from Napa Valley to lead us through a tasting of their marvelous wines. We hope to see you there!
