We love when new spots open up in Downtown Scottsdale. Sip Coffee & Beer House is a place that you can enjoy nearly any time of the day; they’re open until 9:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 11:00 p.m. Friday to Sunday. The entire space was meticulously designed by owners Travis and Tida Radevski, and is an adaptive reuse of a former knitting store.
They feature Cartel coffee and even have cold brew on tap. Chef Payton Curry created the food menu; favorites include Brat Haus pretzels, a BLT with pork belly bacon, and the Breakfast Frittata. Sip features as many local ingredients as possible, and they shop the farmers markets every week.
Mixologist Jason Asher is behind their craft cocktail program, with about eight specialty drinks offered. You can also choose from 22 beers on tap, including at least four Arizona brews.
Sip often features live music, with details posted on their Facebook page. Their normal music ranges from blues to rock and more, always a lively vibe. Sip is part of a larger redevelopment project that will eventually include a tap room, artist studios, and a shared back patio featuring events like yoga, live music, and more. Day or night, Sip has you covered with delicious craft food and drinks.
