Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

I just love breakfast, so I was excited to hear about a new restaurant at Kierland Commons. Snooze is a cheery place with lots of windows and outdoor seating, open for breakfast and lunch. The menu is full of interesting dishes including pancake and benedict flights.

I ordered my normal bacon and eggs, but they also sent over a surprise Pineapple Upside Down Pancake. It was delicious, with caramelized pineapple chunks, vanilla crème anglaise and cinnamon butter. I wish I could have tried all the pancake and french toast specials!

Snooze also has some fabulous-looking sandwiches like Green Eggs and Ham, a Ruben, and a Pretzel Roll with scrambled eggs and sausage. They also offer an array of wonderful cocktails to start your day on a happy note. If healthy fare is more your speed, they serve Quinoa Porridge and a continental breakfast with granola, Greek yogurt, grapefruit brulee and toast.

I love that one percent of sales makes its way back into the local community through the donation of goods (a.k.a. pancakes!) and services. Aside from Kierland, they also have restaurants at Town & Country and in Tempe and Gilbert. Wake up and start your day at Snooze!
