Postino Highland Now Open

When we heard Upward Projects was opening a new Postino just down the street, we had to check it out. The newest restaurant and wine bar is at Scottsdale and Highland. It’s in a wonderful, mid-century modern building by Frank Henry, formerly a Valley National Bank branch. Postino Highland has a beautiful 18-seat bar and lots of seating inside along with a spacious patio featuring original water fountains.

We started with a couple of glasses of wine from the extensive list along with the Butcher’s Block, an array of artisan cheeses, meats, olives and more.

Next up, the bruschetta, what they’re famous for. It was hard to narrow down our choices but we finally went with Burrata, Bacon, Arugula & Tomato; Smoked Salmon with Pesto; Ricotta with Dates & Pistachios; and Roasted Peppers with Goat Cheese. Needless to say, there were no leftovers.

The Chocolate Bouchon with vanilla bean ice cream was the perfect finish. The restaurant also serves a variety of soups, salads, paninis, and a ton of appetizers perfect for sharing with friends.

Postino Highland is open for lunch and dinner daily, along with weekend brunch. You’ll find them at 4821 N. Scottsdale Road, or you can check out their other five locations in the Valley.

  1. Congrats to Chris De Marco for yet another extraordinary restaurant located in an iconic building. Saving the past by building the future.

  2. Sounds delicious! Next time I am in Scottsdale, I will try this Postino Hiighland.
Last week, my wife and I stayed at Valley Ho and ate delicious bruschetta at the hotel bar and we were so excited with the flavor. It is a new dish there, and we hope it stays on the menu until we can return again. Also, part of the reason we visited town was to eat at the Bandera Restaurant, in downtown Scottsdale. That is a fantastic place to have dinner and drinks. Your city has much to brag about in good food!
