Culinary Dropout is Sam Fox’s unique gastro-pub restaurant that also features live acoustic music Thursday through Saturday. The food is excellent and the service is stellar!
We started with an antipasto platter that was amazing – soft round pretzels with a provolone fondue, roasted beets, pickled peppers, prosciutto, and a variety of cheeses! It could easily have been dinner.
The salads we tried next were excellent. I really liked the Cheap House Salad and then we settled on trying the Fried Chicken (serious comfort food) and Korean Style Ribeye Cap, which was just a tad spicy and delicious.
Of course we had to try dessert! The Monkey Bread as well as the custard topped with caramel popcorn were well worth the splurge. The specialty drinks are delicious, too. Culinary Dropout is not easily definable and even harder to forget!
