If you are headed in or out of Sky Harbor Airport and are hungry for some beef, you have to stop at Arizona’s original steakhouse, The Stockyards!
It’s on Washington Street, east of 44th Street, built on land that used to be part of the Tovrea stockyards. The Stockyards restaurant opened in 1947 along with the Cowman’s Club, a restored bar built in 1889.
